Client Feedback
Ministry of Human Resources, Youth and Sports
A GSP representative first came to Maldives as a consultant to observe and help develop sports, in particular, athletics. His passion and enthusiasm to help develop athletics within the Maldives is extraordinary. He successfully conducted several coaching programs for coaches and officials. He also imparted valuable lessons to junior and senior athletes alike. Furthermore, he has been involved in helping the Maldives create a master plan for sport that largely focuses on increasing youth participation.
Since the Maldives does not yet have a synthetic track, he has also conducted his own research with the help of local experts and has drafted a feasibility study for building an athletics track.
Moreover, he has a vision to develop the sports sector, particularly, a better infrastructure which is desperately needed. In this respect, he has met with some of the relevant officials including representatives from some national sports associations including Volleyball, Basketball, Netball and Swimming among others.
His enthusiasm to help Maldives has received good reviews from senior government officials and the National Olympic Committee. He is very determined to find potential sponsors so that Maldives, in the near future can have better sport facilities.
I sincerely wish and hope that he succeeds in his endeavor and assure him we are behind him every step of the way.
Kind regards,
Hamid Abdul Ghafoor
